Elswood was founded in 1958 by Guy and Marjorie Ely, originally covering ELStree & BorehamWOOD.
Guy and Marjorie took an active part in the club until a few years ago.
The club is now based in St Albans with members from a wider area
shooting Recurve, Compound and Longbow.
Our outdoor venue is the Cricket Field, Highfield Park, St Albans and our indoor venue is The Old Chapel, Shenley.
We run beginners' courses in the spring and summer.
Elswood welcome archers from other clubs to any of our sessions

We are running three beginners’ courses in 2012, one indoors in February (full), one outdoors on Wednesdays in May/June (full) and one outdoors on Saturdays in July (full).
